As one of the oldest and most common building materials in the world, clay’s natural beauty and variations allow it to be a stunning accent to both contemporary and traditional architecture and design. Blended from natural materials, without toxic off-gassing and manufacturing byproduct, clay requires minimal inherent energy in its production, making it the most “green” of plaster finishes. With clay’s extraordinarily versatility, the surface quality can be finished from a spectrum of smooth and softly mottled to ‘washed-aggregate’ textures, exposing the colored sands and aggregates, to varying degrees. Our clay can be amended with various additives, like sands and marbles, mother of pearl, straw, leaves, etc. Depending on the designated finish, clay plasters can be more economical than other artisan plasters.
